I can't wait to start playing with it all!!
I have a couple different flowers I made recently to show you all. This first one is made with a fabric softner sheet! (It sure smells good!) I have inked the sheet with Tim Holtz Distress Ink dried marigold. Then I just freehand cut out circles and used a scallop circle punch (not sure of brand) for the smaller ones. Poked a hole in the centers and inserted a brad! Easy Peasy!
These next flowers were made with white tissue paper! I inked it, this time with CTMH honey and hydrangea and again the TH dried marigold. Then I freehand cut 4 each of 2 sizes circles for each flower. Punch the hole in the center, add a brad, and then I crinkled them, one layer at a time, towards the center. Uncrinkle them and there are your flowers! Too easy!!
My last project is a work in progress. I colored this fishing shack with my copic markers and then wanted to add clouds above it. I took stickles (baby blue and waterfall) and put drops of them on the cardstock. I then took a can of air (yes, just air...like you would use to dust your computer keyboard!) and gave it puffs of the air on the drops and they kinda blew upword, towards the top of the cardstock...kinda like puffy clouds! I think the idea is great, but I will definately need to practice more! I hope to eventually have this shack on a card (thinking a stair step card) with the new Tilda and Edwin fishing from the newest collection from Magnolia. I also plan to put flower soft on the flowers in the flower boxes.
Feel free to look around my blog as long as you would like. I don't have a lot of posts but hope you will find them interesting! Also, feed my fish if they are acting hungry, and feel free to stay and play the game at the bottom for a while. Beware though, it is a little addicting!!
After you are finished here, the next stop on the June Bug Blog Hop is Skrappindiva. I am sure she will have something really cool to show you!
